To all Tea Party or related Patriot Groups,
This is information on a National Tea Party Convention that will be held in Kansas City area in late September this year. It’s purpose is to let the Tea Parties across America voice their opinion on who they want to see as a Republican Presidential and VP choice. It is NOT to nominate any 3rd party candidate. It will help overcome the main stream media’s influence on who THEY want to be the Republican nominees.
This is FREE to attend. It will be a large Jamboree or county fair type atmosphere at the open air convention. It will run about 3 days and the Tea Party vote totals for President and VP will be announced Saturday night at the convention.
If you and your Tea Party are fed up with the main stream media picking the Republican candidates, and your want YOUR voice heard on these selections, then this Jamboree/Convention is for you!
Additional information about the Jamboree is provided in a 4 page WORD write-up attached to this E mail. The Freedom Jamboree committee has also made a U Tube video that explains the purpose of the Jamboree. Other info can also be found on their website at www.freedomjamboree.com Both the 4 page WORD summary and the U tube video are attached for your review. You can also call me at 903-297-3436 for more information.
Please look over the information and let me know if your Tea Party is interested in joining as a registered Tea Party, wants to be a voting Tea Party, or has people interested in attending the Jamboree. I would really appreciate a return E mail or phone call (home # 903-297-3436) to verify that you received this information and if your group is interested in this Jamboree convention.
We hope this Jamboree will be as big or bigger than the Tea Party marches on Washington, DC over the last 2 years. If you missed those opportunities, then here’s another one that you should not miss.
Thank you,

OVERVIEW
This is information on a Nationwide Tea Party Straw Poll Nominating Convention that will be held at the Woodlands Race Track in the Kansas City area on Sept 28th to October 1, 2011 (Wed to Sunday). Wednesday and Thursday are arrival and caucus days. The main convention starts on Friday September 30 and ends with the winning candidate speeches, the JAM concert, and fireworks display on Saturday night. There is a national worship service on Sunday October 2nd for those not traveling out early that day .
The purpose of the convention is to provide a way for Tea Parties to nominate who WE THE PEOPLE want to see run as President and Vice President candidates in the Spring 2012 primary races. This is NOT to pick a 3rd party (Tea Party) candidate, but to influence who WE would like to see as Republican and Democrat candidates in 2012.
IF YOU WANT A VOICE IN DETERMINING WHO THE CANDIDATES ARE FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012 – AND ARE NOT CONTENT TO LET THE LIBERAL MAINSTREAM MEDIA DO THE PICKING FOR YOU – THEN THIS INFORMATION IS FOR YOU!
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
Every Tea Party that joins the convention gets 1 vote for Pres and VP. Their local Tea Party people in each state who have volunteered to help with their state Tea Party registrations vet these Tea parties to ensure they are legit. Each Tea Party (or WTP group, 9-12 group, Grassroots America group, etc) gets 1 vote no matter how big or small their group is. The vote can be cast in person at the convention or by phone by the group’s designated representative. The votes are totaled up on Saturday night and the winners get a big wind to their backs entering the Spring 2012 primary season.
NATIONAL TEA PARTY NOMINATING CONVENTION IN KANSAS CITY AREA ON SEPT 30th TO OCTOBER 2nd, 2011 Page: 2 of 4
This is FREE – yes free to join and participate. There is no cost to register your group or to get into the event, but there is a fee to register your delegate who will cast your vote for Pres and VP. This fee is $100 until July 1 and $150 after July 1. The organizers hope that donations at the Jamboree will defray the costs to put on this large Tea Party event.
This convention will be held in a large open field type environment at the Woodlands Race Track in Kansas City, Kansas. Address is 9700 Leavenworth Road Kansas City, Kansas 66109. The main convention will start at noon on Friday September 28th and end Saturday night October 1st. Wednesday will be for early arrival for those Rving in. There are now 520 RV site available at the Woodlands. Thursday will be a state caucus day with some entertainment and food vendors on site. Sunday will have a prayer service.
The Freedom Jamboree will be run as an open-air Tea Party rally with a country fair theme and tailgate party atmosphere. Each state will have its own caucus area identified with a large state flag and adjoining RV and camping areas within. There is a small cost per day if you RV on site or want to camp at the Jamboree. You can mingle with the Tea Parties from your state or with other Tea Parties from across the nation .
The Woodlands Racetrack is right outside Kansas City. Hotels and other services are close to the Racetrack if you are not looking to RV or camp at the Jamboree. You can stay in motels in Kansas City and commute to the Convention if desired. The site will be close enough to do this. The committee is looking into shuttle buses to make this easy. Check out the website for more information on this services.
The convention is family friendly and families are encouraged to attend. The campgrounds and convention will be full of like-minded Tea Party patriots from across the nation. There will be lots of Tea Party and national political speakers, big name musicians, and other entertainment. If you have never attended a large political rally like this, it will be the event of a lifetime.
Once the convention is over, the organization that puts it on will disband. They are doing this as a one-time thing. They have no intentions of doing this every year – just for 2012.
WHO ARE THE EVENT ORGANIZERS?
The people organizing this convention are Tea Party grassroots people, not any national or paid group. They are Tea Party people from the Southeast (Atlanta, GA) area.
They are all volunteers and are committed to being as open as possible with the event finances. More information on the convention organizers can be found on their website www.freedomjamboree.com
This convention is not being organized or sponsored by the National Tea Party Patriots or Tea Party Express organizations. It is strictly a low cost family type affair hosted by grassroots Tea Party groups that are concerned that TEA PARTY people have a voice in who THEY would like to see as presidential candidates in 2012.
WHICH POLITICAL AND NEW MEDIA PEOPLE ARE COMING?
Invitations have been sent out to numerous political people to attend the convention. Many have accepted, even at this early date. More will come when this convention really starts to roll and the politicians realize the positive influence this can have on the candidates who do well in the Tea Party voting. The organizers expect most, if not all, of the big name candidates to be at the convention.
NATIONAL TEA PARTY NOMINATING CONVENTION IN KANSAS CITY AREA ON SEPT 30th TO OCTOBER 2nd, 2011 Page: 3 of 4
Fox News and Conservative Talk radio will be all over this convention. Several of the big names in each media are planning on attending. The media will attend once the size of the projected Tea Party attendance is known. In short – this convention will get plenty of media coverage and major players in the political arena. The organizers expect a large group of Tea Party people to attend this convention.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO TO SIGN UP YOUR TEA PARTY OR TO ATTEND THE CONVENTION?
Go to the website www.freedomjamboree.com or review this informational letter for all the information you need to answer your questions. You can also contact the regional convention coordinators, or the other names in this letter, for more information. The website will also allow you to reserve an RV, camp space, or help with hotel locations.
To Register Your Tea Party and Show How Many are Coming to the Jamboree
Go to the website www.freedomjamboree.com and click on Register Your Group. Fill out the information and submit. THIS IS FREE and you should be be registered as a Tea Party type group when you attend the Jamboree. Your group will show up as a RED Balloon on the US map once your group has been accepted.
To Register Your Tea Party Delegate to Vote in the Nominating Convention
It will cost $100 (or $150 if you register past July1) for your Tea Party to participate in the voting process at the Jamboree. This is required to cover the costs of the cell phone banks and other equipment needed for the voting process. Unfortunately, this is an expense that Conservatives need to pay to make this process work. I firmly believe that this cost is well worth paying to provide a significant media push to the Tea Party nominated candidates for the 2012 elections.
To register your delegate, go the website and click on Register a Delegate. Follow the directions to register your Tea Party delegate and pay the registration fee. After the registration and payment process is completed, your Tea Party balloon will then turn Blue on the US map to verify your registration. You are now registered to vote your Tea Party’s selection for the 2012 elections.
FINANCIALS
This Tea Party nominating convention is being staged at as low a cost as possible. However, the organizers will have costs that must be covered up front – liability insurance, website build and hosting, stage/lighting/sound/LED projection costs, electricity installation, security, EMT/medical, shuttle bus services, trash pickup, etc.
They are asking that Tea Party groups across the nation do some fund raising or ask for group donations to help with these costs. There is also a “Donate Now” button on the website to help cover the convention costs.

The Tea Party groups around the nation can help support this nominating convention by asking members to visit the website and donating via the “donate now” button. Collections for the convention costs can also be taken up at Tea Parties or group meetings. Any cash or check donations can be made to “Freedom Jamboree” and sent to the address below. Donations are Tax Deductable.
Freedom Jamboree
P. O. Box 1722
Brunswick, GA 31521
This group of individuals has committed to providing a listing of all income vs. all expenditures for this convention on a monthly basis. This will be done through the website. Any money left over after the convention will be returned proportionally to the groups that gave to the event.
It would not take much of a donation from each Tea Party across the nation to make a huge difference in the financial health for this convention. Business donations will also be accepted and are actively encouraged. If we don’t support this convention, and end up with 2012 Presidential candidates that do not have the Tea Party values that America desperately needs, then we have no one to blame but ourselves.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Register your Tea Party (or other grassroots group) on the website. Encourage as many of your group to attend the convention as possible. It will be a fun event and a lasting memory for a lifetime. They will be glad they did.
Select a delegate from your group to vote in the straw poll and send in the $100 (or $150 after July 1) voter registration fee. This is a small cost to help influence the direction America will take in the next 4 years.
Encourage your group members to donate to the Convention through the “Donate Now” button on the website. Donations can also be made by collections at your meetings or Tea Parties and sent to the mailing address that is provided.
Spread the word about the Jamboree to all other Conservative groups that you know and encourage them to attend and sign up delegates to vote. Use E-mail, Facebook, websites, and all other media to spread the information and encourage Conservatives to join us in this historic “Freedom Jamboree”. All help is greatly appreciated!

Democrats are taking aim at the tea party movement. In a recent fund-raising email, the Democratic National Committee called those who attend tea party events “narrow minded . . . nut jobs” and “vile two-bit wing-nuts.” Democratic leaders routinely denigrate tea party participants and President Barack Obama dismisses them as an extremist “strain [that] has existed in politics for a long time.”
But that’s not true. Democrats are attacking the tea party movement because it is a new force that’s bringing millions of here-to-fore unengaged Democrats, independents and Republicans into the political arena. If there’s something a ruling party doesn’t like, it’s a new political player converting spectators into participants.
The Democrats are particularly concerned because the No. 1 target of the tea partiers—ObamaCare—is not rising in public opinion polls. It remains as unpopular as before it was jammed through Congress.
The president’s popularity briefly increased after health-care reform passed but has since fallen back below 50%. Also, the generic ballot, a measure of support for each party, indicates that the GOP could win a large congressional victory this fall.
The White House’s promised campaign to sell its health-care reforms is unlikely to pay off. Mr. Obama delivered 58 speeches on health care in the 51 weeks leading up to Congress’s passage of ObamaCare and was still unable to halt a slide in public opinion against his reforms. What new can he say in the 31 weeks before Election Day?
UPDATED – New emails in this exchange are toward the bottom of this page.
Now I know why my home District (TX-27) gets thrashed election after election by Democrats. I emailed my local County Chairman of the Republican Party a simple question and received an armload of attitude, condescension, and elitism in return.
My initial email:
Hello,
I am a Republican living in Brownsville. How does one become a Delegate? I’d like to become a Delegate to the upcoming Republican Convention for the 2012 election, if possible.
Regards,
Chris Rowan

Subject: Re: Questionyou work hard for the county party and have a track record of dedicated service locally. then you compete with others locally who have done also………you become one of the leaders of the local party through demonstrated service and deserve the honor to be elected as a delegate to the national.
please let us know if you desire to become involved 24/7. i’ll place you in contact with the party leadership in brownsville. it takes giving the county party your priority in time in relationship with other activities you may engage in.
norma is our executive director for the south. frank
My retort:
Hi Frank,
I’m the Technology Chair for our local Tea Party. I maintain our group’s website and help the Harlingen Tea Party with their website occasionally. I’ve livestreamed the past four Congressional Candidate Forums via UStream.tv in my area for districts 15, 27, and 28. I even drove to Corpus Christi to livestream their Forum last week. I also used a separate Hi-Def videocam during each of the above Forums, processed the video, cut it into 10-minute segments, and uploaded the videos to YouTube. That way, voters in my district (as well as adjacent districts) can listen to candidates answer questions about important issues and decide for themselves who deserves their vote.
No establishment media were at any of these Forums. I was the only “media” present.
I’m working with the other Valley Tea Party groups to livestream the upcoming April 15th rallies. There’s an opportunity to utilize UStream.tv to livestream the various events in multiple cities simultaneously and get the message out about conservatism without the leftist filter of establishment media.
I’ve conducted technology training sessions to show people how to use the Internet to find information and utilize social apps like Facebook and Twitter to interact with a much larger network of conservatives.
I use social media applications like Facebook and Twitter to keep abreast of news and continually update the website with current, relevant items of interest to conservatives. I announced the livestreaming of the Forums via Twitter and Facebook. Afterwards, I posted the recorded videos to the website I maintain for our local Tea Party.
Last week, I was invited to speak about Tea Party politics and the nature of conservatism on UTB’s radio station, Sting Radio. This may turn into a weekly gig.
I also contribute articles to David Horowitz’s NewsRealBlog.com and FrontPage.com. If you don’t know who David Horowitz is, you should. He has appeared on Nightline, Crossfire, Today, Hannity and Colmes, the Bill O’Reilly Show, Good Morning America, C-SPAN, CNBC, Fox News Channel, CBS This Morning, and other programs. David Horowitz gives hundreds of interviews yearly on radio and television.
Is that the kind of “dedicated service” you were referring to?
I expect not. It’s difficult to infer “tone” from an email, but you seem a bit miffed by my request for information about what is required to be a delegate, as though asking is a disqualifier. If I have to ask, then I must be neither aware nor committed.
Guess I’ll just continue doing what I’m doing – working, paying taxes, and supporting my local Tea Party.
Thanks anyway,
Chris

Subject: Re: Questioni’m sorry you feel that way……….. and reading into something that wasn’t there. i was sending a signal that it isn’t easy to be selected as a delegate or alternate to the national. i was honest and straightforward. we don’t want volunteers to get involved under false pretenses.
you asked about being interested in being a delegate to the national in 12……..delegates to the national are selected when we caucus at the state convention as a cd 27 caucus with other delegates from other counties in that district. we do the same for cd 15. so whoever our county party would like to send as a delegate tothe national is competing against nominees from other counties. so our selection must be competitive in their involvement with our county party in order to be competitive going up against the history of involvement with the other county party nominee………..it is that simple………
ahead of time we try to negotiate with the other counties for slots as a delegate or alternate. only three delegates and three alternates are authorized for each CD.
what you do for the TEA party or any other interest group, movement or candidates campaign are not relevant. everything else being equal, it could count to break a tie. this is one of the few opportunities we have to reward our hard workers. other groups can reward their participants in other ways.
even though we are a small party locally, we are very well organized with some great volunteers. being selected SD volunteer of the year is another way of rewarding.
we are a positive group working as a team. ask those involved in the county party executive committee.
and yes we do work 24/7 and give the county party the time and priority it deserves. our staff leaders have made that commitment. we can’t have individual Republicans who place the Lions, Rotary, etc before the party, they wouldn’t be reliable nor available when needed.
that would apply to the TEA party also…………i have staff leaders who attend the TEA party activities and support the TEA party. but our party comes first in tasks assigned.
i don’t require from the staff any more than i give as county party chairman. we work side by side. we are a family and we care about each other. but the party is run like a business.
i’ve been county chairman for over several decades…. i never sought the office but was asked by the Yturria’s and other Republican leaders in Brownsville, etc.to take the responsibility many years ago. this is my second tenure.
we also ask if married, does you spouse agree with your commitment. if not, there will be problems down the road. believe me when a say if the spouse is not happy, then the effectiveness of the staffer is negatively affected big time.
so that is the story. the ball is in your corner…….,most, not all, find a rewarding satisfaction once involved…….from what you say, you obviously have talent and are a hard, responsible worker. ……. regards, frank
My reply:
Actually, Mr. Morris, your reply to my simple request for information was infuriating in its condescension and elitism.
“what you do for the TEA party or any other interest group, movement or candidates campaign are not relevant.”
Wow. Do you keep up with current events? Do you have a TV?
Now I know why Republicans get beaten election after election in District 27.
Some of my friends think we should support conservative Democrats. I vociferously opposed them. I was wrong.

Subject: Re: Questioni think your problem is you want to be completely independent and not part of a team. you are afraid to work as a team member and make a commitment. therefore you attack the system as a way of avoiding having to make the commitment. it gives you the rationale and self justification to go solo.
as part of your work with the tea party you worked totally independent without supervision. free to make all the decision. you seem not able to work within a structured enviornment.
AND THAT IS PERFECTLY OK…………
SO STRUCTURED POLITICAL PARTIES ARE NOT YOUR THING.
BUT THAT IS NOT JUSTIFICATION FOR ATTACKING OUR WAY OF DOING THINGS JUST TO MAKE YOUR SELF FEEL BETTER. IT IS EASY TO WORK OUTSIDE THE SYSTEM AND THEN STEP BACK AND CRITICIZE IT. IT’S THE CHEAP AND EASY WAY OUT. YOU APPEAR TO BE ANTI SOCIAL AND ANTI ESTABLISHMENT. IF THAT IS THE CASE, THEN OUR PARTY IS NOT FOR YOU.
FOR CD 27 CORPUS CHRISTI IS THE POWER BASE. AND IN THAT COUNTY REPUBLICANS ARE WINNING MANY ELECTIONS AND WILL EVENTUALLY COME OUR WAY. POLITICS IS A SPRINT TO NOVICES, TO THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND IT, IS A MARATHON. CC HAS THE COUNTY JUDGE, COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, STATE REP, ETC AS REPUBBLICANS. YOU NEED TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
YOU ALSO SEEM TO GET SOME SORT OF SATISFACTION OF TAKING WORDS OR PHRASES OUT OF CONTEXT AND TWISTING THE MEANING.
OR YOU ARE UNABLE TO COMPREHEND WHAT A PARAGRAPH STATES.
AGAIN, THAT IS OK AND I WISH YOU WELL.
AS A 20 YEAR CAREER RETIRED AIR FORCE OFFICER WHO HAS BEEN IN COMBAT, I HAVE COME ACROSS FINE MEN SERVING WHO WERE ANTI SOCIAL AND ANTI ESTABLISHMENT. THEY DECIDED TO LEAVE THE SERVICE BECAUSE THEY COULDN’T PUT THE TEAM BEFORE THEMSELVES AND THEREFORE WERE A DANGER TO ALL CONCERN.
WITH POLITICAL PARTIES YOU SEEM TO BE IN THE SAME CATEGORY. YOU ARE AFRAID TO MAKE THE COMMITMENT TO WORK HARD AND COMPETE TO BECOME A DELEGATE OUT OF FEAR OF FAILURE. THEREFORE YOU WITHDRAW AND CRITICIZE RATHER THAN ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE…………….I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU.
THOSE CC IN THIS MESSAGE ARE PART OF THE LEADERSHIP IN BROWNSVILLE AND I WANT THEM TO BE AWARE OF THIS EXCHANGE.
to continue this exchange serves no useful purpose. i have tried to be courteous and respectful in my initial exchanges…….and friendly……. you seemed to enjoy in a sick way, to do otherwise.

Frank (and everyone),
Thank you for your service. My dad was in the Navy during the Korean War. I miss him every day.
I’ve voted the straight Republican ticket since Reagan. But I had no idea that this was what the Republican party was really like. And to think that this whole exchange started with a simple question! I inferred condescension and elitism from the tone of your responses. And like I stated, it’s hard to infer “tone.” But this latest reponse is just over the top, even threatening. You do know that sending an email in all caps is the equivalent of shouting, right?
No need to shout, Frank. I get it. You’ve got me pegged. I’m woefully ignorant of the machinations of local politics. But, thanks to you, I’m learning. Fast.
It saddens me greatly, but I can no longer affiliate myself with a political party that treats its members like this. What’s worse, I really think I could have done a lot of good for the local cause. Maybe not. We’ll never know.
This is the most bizarre email exchange I have ever had.

UPDATE: I received this from a member of the Board of my local county Republican party:
Date: Wed, 24 Feb 2010 21:04:30 -0800
From: XXXX
Subject: RE: QuestionChris: I applaud your to Frank and I am baffeled at his attitude toward you. I brought this to the attention of our board meeting today and we don’t understand what brought it own.
I wish you would have come to one of us in the Brownsville Club, as most of us haven’t met you, but would like to. We meet on the 1st Wed of the month at the new Elks on Central Blvd.
I think what got under his skin was the mention of the Tea Party, as I have not attended any Tea Party meetings yet, I don’t know for sure, but I will be at the next one to see why some of the old line Republicans consider them such a threat. Maybe it’s because they are so focused on abortion or wether Under God remains in the Pledge, that they have forgotten their Conservative Values and want to control the whole thing, frankly it’s making me a little sick.
Give me a call if you would like to talk about or attend the next meeting.
Jesse Simmons
My reply:
Hi Jesse,
I’m ambivalent over whether to aggressively follow up this email exchange with Frank with a little politicking of my own. I have hundreds of Twitter and Facebook followers who have thousands of followers of their own, and so on. Most are Republican. All are conservative. I think many would be as disgusted as I am. I’ve already posted the entire exchange to my Facebook page where all interested can see. It’s also available for viewing on our website. Out of respect to the office Frank holds (as well as his military service) and the rest of you who have been CC’d, I’ve removed email addresses and surnames.
I realize that the majority of Republicans are not like Frank and the Party as a whole is a decent organization. But this bizarre email exchange with one of the Party leadership really gives me pause. I am shocked to the core, I really am. If I’m invited back to The Daily Carp (conservative talk radio host Craig Price’s UTB Internet radio program), I will definitely talk about this.
If Frank is what local Republicans consider leadership material, then I am no longer Republican. I applaud his service, but that does not justify such a blistering attack on my character and the Tea Party as a whole.
I’m changing my party affiliation today, as soon as I can. Thanks for the invite, but I won’t be attending any Republican party meetings anytime soon. I’ll just continue working for my local Tea Party, doing what I’ve been doing for the past year, for as long as they’ll have me. We meet the first Saturday of each month at the Word of God Church on Alton Gloor, next to Burns Elementary.

TEA PARTY PATRIOTS -
I know that many feel like our efforts here in the Valley have been “meager”, but they HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE. The Health Care and Cap & Trade were foregone conclusions to pass, back in early summer – to be “done” by Labor Day. WE have delayed all that till 2010 now, and there IS hope for a better tomorrow.
PLEASE read this message from Pat Buchanan.
Please note that the poll was conducted by NBC!!!
When stacked up against the Dems and Rep. parties, the Tea Party was the choice of 41% of the American public! (I saw this poll reported on Fox News a week or so ago.)
Get involved – keep working at this through the 2010 elections. We CAN make this happen, and turn this socialist adenda away!
Art
From Tracy LaFontaine
Hello True Americans!
After some group debate regarding Tea Party Events we attended the event on 9/12 in our own town. Like many Americans today we are just as frustrated and angry with the events taking place in this country. The turnout on 9/12 was incredible around the country but unfortunately was grossly lost among the fringe media and Washington. Our cause fell on what seems to be deaf ears, and evolved into an issue of racism and other comments that did not present our full agenda.
I have spoken to many people and read hundreds of comments on the internet and am confident that most of us feel that our mission objective has not been taken seriously by our Congress, Senate and President Obama.
TODAY we are not being heard! We need to make our voices so loud that it resonates across America! We need to make it known that we have had enough and that the government works for us, not the other way around! We want our God given rights returned to the American People!
We must build on the events of 9/12 starting TODAY. We can’t wait until tomorrow. We are the resistance. There is no group, be it republican or democrat, that can or will save us. It is up to us!
Keep these numbers and put them on speed dial.
1-877-851-6437, 1-800-833-6354, 1-866-220-0044,
1-866-808-0065, 1-877-762-8762, 1-866-340-9281,
1-800-862-5530
Call them daily or hourly, if you have the time. Let the Congress and Senate know there are more of us out here, and we stand with those who were marching in Washingtonon 912. This revolution has just begun, and it needs every single red- blooded American at the helm. We will not stand down or be intimidated.
We are fighting for our freedom, for our country, for our families, and for those who have no family to fight for them. We must bury our leaders in calls, letters and faxes and demand they hear the voice of the people.
We also need to bombard the news media outlets with our disapproval of their biased and incorrect reporting… and their intentional lack of reporting!
Write letters to the editor of your local paper, educating the public and encouraging them to think for themselves.
Act Now!
Fair warning to all entrenched politicos: Ignore us at your peril.
This resulted from a Mom in Alabama asking her high school son to help with a commercial for the Tea Party she was involved in organizing. Boy, does it slam the message home. Very impressive. Here is her note:
I asked Justin if he could help me make a commercial for my group’s Tea Party. He sat down at the laptop for about an hour, and then brought this to me and asked, ‘Is this okay, Mom?’
After I finished watching it, my stomach was in my throat.
Everyone that I have sent it to has really enjoyed it, so I wanted my friends to see it. I am so proud!
A very powerful video…turn up the sound & sit back…!!!

I recently finished creating a brochure / pamphlet for The 9.12 Project. It’s 8.5 x 11 and double-sided format with a vertical fold, to make it 4.25 x 11 when folded.
It displays the 9.12 Project snake and its numerical representation of the values and principles on the front (and continues across the back). And it asks “Are YOU a 9.12er”?
On the inside, it lists the 12 values, the 9 principles, and an introduction of The 9.12 Project and its purpose. In addition, the brochure briefly emphasizes the founding fathers’ intent for America’ system under “People’s Law” and defines the vertical separation of powers as defined by Thomas Jefferson (also listed on the back of the brochure). This helps to outlay the reasoning for less government, and more dependence upon personal responsibility and community in taking care of one another.
Please feel free to download, print and distribute freely as you wish!
The brochure is located on the 9.12 Project Member Resources page under the Original Graphics & Brochures heading. It is available in both .jpg and .pdf formats. Contact me directly if you need the Photoshop files instead.
Enjoy!

USNA-At-Large, Bob Hinckley writes for your consideration; this comes from the “All enemies, foreign and domestic” files –
As a young Midshipman I had the honor of marching down Pennsylvania Avenue with the Brigade in the Inaugural Parade for President John F. Kennedy.
Little did I know that 48 years later I’ll be marching once again but for an entirely different reason – to protest the systematic destruction of the United States.
There are many USNA grads in the DC metro area. This is the time for all of us to get away from our TV and computer screens and show up Saturday, September 12th for the March on Washington!
Here is the info:
I’ll close with this quote:
“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless.
Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”
