Part three in the series of video fisks of President Obama’s “immigration speech.” Lots of squirrels and straw men. Few (if any) substantive policy proposals or solutions to problems.

In 2008, General Patraeus delivered a report to Congress about how the war in Iraq was progressing.  Many Democrats called him a liar before he uttered a single word.  Now these same democrats sing his praises.  The first video in this playlist sets up the video clips that follow.

Two men shot earlier this week could be the result of the ongoing battle between Mexican drug cartels now spilling over deep into Arizona, officials say.  Pinal County investigators say an area known as the smuggling corridor now stretches from Mexico’s border to metro Phoenix.  The area, once an area for family hiking and off road vehicles has government signs warning residents of the drug and human smugglers.  Night vision cameras have photographed cartel members with military arms delivering drugs to vehicles along Highway 8.

“We are three counties deep. How is it that you see pictures like these, not American with semi and fully automatic rifles. How is that okay?” asked Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu.  Babeu said he no longer has control over parts of his county.

“We are outgunned, we are out manned and we don’t have the resources here locally to fight this,” he said at a Friday news conference.  Five weeks ago Deputy Louie Puroll was ambushed and shot as he tracked six drug smugglers.  Sheriff Babeu said the ambush mirrored military tactics.

OF COURSE it’s Bush’s fault.  Was there any doubt?  Will there ever come a time when this man accepts responsibility for anything?  Anything negative, I mean.

Doubtful.

President Barack Obama:

But the thing is though, you have to love some of the pundits in Washington. Everying single day since I signed the [Obamacare] reform law, there’s been another poll or headline that said “Nation still divided on health care reform – polls haven’t changed yet!”

We’ll yeah. It just happend last week. It’s only been a week!

But if polls would have soared through the roof, heh. Well, the president would be everywhere.

Last week, the Tip of Texas Tea Party protested against ObamaCare outside the local office of US Representative Solomon P. Ortiz (D-Corpus Christi, TX). A block away on the corner of FM 802 and Paredes Line Road, Coffee Partiers protested for ObamaCare. Noticing the lack of attention, they joined us.

None other than Democratic Party county chairman Gilberto Hinojosa led the Coffee Party. Does his presence with known Democrat operatives mean the Democrats are the Coffee Party? Recall the meme of Tea Parties consisting solely of angry Republicans and served as basis for Rio Grande Guardian‘s questions to us. Did Republican Chairman Frank Morris protest? No. For the record, Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents make up our group.

American Thinker: The Progressives’ Perfect Trojan Horse.

Obama has gotten away with his blatantly tyrannical, unconstitutional, radical agenda simply because he is black.

The more things change, the more things stay the same. A little over a year ago, President Barack Obama came to office expecting to pass a “big bang” of policy changes all in the first year: health care, cap-and-trade, and banking regulation. With the big-bang strategy officially a failure , President Obama’s State of the Union address last night desperately tried to keep all of these legislative efforts alive while also acknowledging that the country has firmly rejected his policy agenda.

Geert Wilders Geert Wilders, the Dutch politician who is about to stand trial for “hate speech” against Muslims, has suggested a ten-point program to save the West from being jihadically overrun. The times are so surreal. Wilders, who is also due to speak on 9/11 in downtown Manhattan, near Ground Zero suggests that we must: […]

  • Interview With GOProud’s Christopher Barron September 9, 2010
As you may know, GOProud is the only gay conservative organization out there and they’re doing a NYC fund raiser, featuring Ann Coulter, called Homocon. Right Wing News is sponsoring the event. Naturally, this has generated a lot of controversy, so I decided to interview Christopher Barron, the chairman of GOProud, talk about the whole […]

  • The 15 Most Obvious Lies in President Obama’s Ohio Speech and 1 Damning Freudian Slip September 8, 2010
The naked lies were too numerous to count in President Obama’s speech in Ohio today. But let’s try and respond to a couple. 15. “We also hoped for a chance to get beyond some of the political divides between Democrats and Republicans…” One cannot “get beyond” the political divides of this country when the objective […]

  • A Response to Secretary Clinton’s Foreign Policy Speech September 8, 2010
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave a major foreign policy speech at the Council on Foreign Relations earlier today touting the Obama Administration’s foreign policy. The speech was wide ranging. The bulk of the speech was populated by platitudes and generalities intended to emphasize the Administration’s dedication to maintaining America’s global leader […]

  • Side Effects: Obamacare Raises Your Premiums September 8, 2010
Health Insurers Plan Hikes. That’s the headline of today’s Wall Street Journal story which reports: “Health insurers say they plan to raise premiums for some Americans as a direct result of the health overhaul in coming weeks, complicating Democrats’ efforts to trumpet their signature achievement before the midterm elections. Aetna Inc., some BlueCross BlueS […]

  • Honoring Cardinal Newman September 9, 2010
His greatness transcends religion. Most Americans may not have noticed the ascent of John Henry Cardinal Newman up the exacting heights of the blessed and toward the officially saintly, a progress that will bring Pope Benedict XVI to England this month. There have been juvenile indiscretions by waggish factota in the Foreign Office, and an uproar from the ga […]
  • The Event Horizon September 9, 2010
We must fight the tendencies that are pulling our country toward a debt crisis. Black holes destroy any objects that happen to fall victim to their gravitational pull. The edge of a black hole, the event horizon, is a boundary that marks the point of no return. Once an object crosses the event horizon, it cannot escape and will be ripped to pieces, atom by a […]
  • Racial Voyeurism September 9, 2010
A new program requires lenders to guess the races of clients who refuse to classify themselves. Mortgage servicers are now expected to record the race of all their clients -- including those expressly unwilling to provide one. In order, naturally, to stop discriminatory lending. • Morning Jay: Base Politics, "Indispensable" Murkowski, House Polls, and More! September 9, 2010
    1. The limits of base politics. Yesterday, I noted the apparent decision of the Obama White House to focus aggressively on mobilizing its base in advance of the midterm.  I concluded that the pursuit of this strategy so late in the cycle suggests party leaders recognize that the House is slipping away. I want to expand on that here. • As You Wake Up This Morning September 9, 2010
Consider these points: (1) Just a few short weeks ago, Democrats were complaining that Republicans would rather talk about the Ground Zero Mosque than jobs. It’s gotten so bad for Democrats, they’d now rather talk about John Boehner’s tan than jobs. (2) Speaking of John Boehner, make no mistake that George Stephanapoulous remains a partisan hack. • Tech at Night: John Kerry, Net Neutrality, For the Children!, Hank Johnson September 9, 2010
Yesterday at the Daily Caller we found out why John Kerry was such a flip-flopper during his Presidential run. The reason is that he just can’t help it. He even flips around when he’s not running for anything. In 1998 he wrote a letter to the FCC explaining that the Telecommunications Act 1996 forbids the FCC to do the very same deem and pass Title II Reclas […]
