Military tacticians and historians often make use of the term ‘tip of the spear.’ It refers to a combat force that is used to puncture the enemy’s initial lines of defense, to be quickly followed by concentrated forces which destroy any remaining threat.
Tactically, the tip of the spear is a bit of a blitzkrieg– an unexpected onslaught of firepower and destruction that takes the enemy by surprise, scatters his resources, and fractures his morale.
I’m convinced that what we’re seeing right now from the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is the tip of the spear in the government’s battle for increased control of the public.
Apparently, being here illegally is no longer justifiable cause for deportation. ICE will no longer deport illegals simply because they are here illegally. They must also be violent criminals. Click here to read more about this at Investor’s Business Daily.

Read Charles Krauthammer’s piece Sacrilege at Ground Zero for a level-headed, rational analysis and rationale for why the “Victory Over Infidels” Cordoba Mosque should not be built near Ground Zero.

The bloodbath continues along our southern border and now word is coming in that Los Zetas, the highly trained killers formerly with the Gulf Cartel, have crossed into the United States and taken over at least two ranches in the Laredo, Texas area. I am receiving word that the owners of the ranches have evacuated without being harmed. The source is law enforcement in the area.

Message from Frank Gaffney: The Center for Security Policy today unveiled a powerful 1-minute video opposing the construction of a 13-story, $100 million mega-mosque near the hallowed ground of the World Trade Center. The Twin Towers were destroyed on 9/11 by adherents to the barbaric, supremacist and totalitarian program authoritative Islam calls “Shariah.” And the imam who is promoting this mosque has publicly declared that he seeks to “bring Shariah to America.”
As the ad makes clear, Shariah’s followers have long built mosques on the most sacred sites of those they have conquered — for example, on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, at Constantinople/Istanbul’s St. Sophia Basilica and in Cordoba, Spain, the capital of the occupying Moors’ Muslim kingdom.
A growing chorus of New Yorkers and other Americans — including, notably, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin — have expressed outrage at the prospect of a similar, permanent beachhead for Shariah being use to defile Ground Zero, and symbolize America’s defeat at the hands of her enemies. We say, “No Mosque at Ground Zero.”

City Commissioner Charlie Atkinson is a foulmouthed elected official. I think we can agree on that based on his Facebook comment against the tea party.
Many of you may not know he is employed by Customs and Border Protection. While off duty he criticized the government’s neglect of the Northern Border.
Our country needs you, Commissioner Charlie Atkinson. I urge you to put in for a transfer. Go North and protect us!
Let him know how much we need him to protect us from the invasion coming from our vastly underprotected northern frontier.
Deplorable. How can you fight an enemy you cannot even acknowledge exists?
This ad paid for by Arizona Governor Jan Brewer says “Until January of 2009, any smugglers carrying under the threshold of 500 pounds of narcotics were often not prosecuted.” Often not prosecuted?
Then it follows by saying Obama isn’t doing his job because prosecutions rose in the last 16 months. Did the governor just make the argument that President Obama is doing his job along the border? You be the judge. (Via Hot Air)

The Tip of Texas Tea Party endorses neither the Arizona immigration law nor Sheriff Joe Arpaio, but we are strong advocates of the First Amendment. Feel free to voice your opinion one way or the other.

Dear Friend:
You probably saw that the state of Arizona passed a very tough anti-illegal immigration last week. This new law will strengthen law enforcement’s ability to identify, arrest and detain those who are in this country illegally.
I support this new law 100%. Even before this law was passed, I was the only law enforcement official in this state enforcing all the laws that our federal and state legislatures put in place to combat illegal immigration and human smuggling.
Because I have taken the lead over the years by enforcing existing state and federal laws against illegal immigration, I have become the target of attack by radical, left-wing, open-borders extremists.
I’ve been sued, picketed, burned in effigy and even had the Reverend Al Sharpton come to Phoenix to march on my headquarters. Some have even gone so far as to call for my assassination!
Their anger and vitriol is clearly misdirected at me. If they don’t like the laws of this state or they support Obama’s water-downed approach on illegal immigration, then they need to work with their legislators to change the law. The biggest problem they have in taking that approach is that the vast majority of citizens of the United States don’t want the laws changed and they certainly don’t support amnesty for those who break the law.
What they really want is a Sheriff who will look the other way, be silent and allow the charade to continue, while ignoring the laws of our land. That, I promise, will never happen.
But I desperately need your help. It’s going to take a lot of resources to combat these false allegations — as well as the latest talk about a recall campaign against me. We anticipate the hardest campaign in Maricopacounty history to remove me due to my unyielding stance on illegal immigration enforcement.
I cannot compete Will you join me? I desperately need your help now. My election has been targeted as the frontline in the battle to end illegal immigration. We must win this battle.
Your financial support today is so critical. Please log on to http://www.reelectjoearpaio.com right now and make a much needed contribution. Any amount you can offer today is tremendously appreciated. I promise I will not let you down. The fight starts now. Please help me. I pledge to you that I will never stop the fight. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Sheriff Joe Arpaio
Maricopa CountyP.S. In addition to making a contribution, please do me a favor and forward this email to your friends, family and other individuals who share our views. Together we can win this fight. Thank you.
