Okay, I admit it. I’m a terrorist! At least that’s what the socialist Democrats would like to call me. It is now out of the bag. TEA Party members and followers are now being charged with terrorism by the politically degenerate followers of The Great Prevaricator. I’m proud of it if I can bring terror into the minds of those who would work contrary to our Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights. I want them out of office and out of any position of influence.

It seems everyone is debating the effectiveness of the TEA Party members and supporters in bringing some kind of halt to spending and holding taxes where they are in the passing of the Budget Control Act. One easy way to look at it is where are we today in relation to where we were during the Pelosi-Reid-Obama agenda of one year ago. That agenda was giving us a daily dose of damage to our American economy, destroying jobs with crippling regulations, oppressive spending and brand new taxes. To top it off, the Democrats passed a government takeover of healthcare, spending record amounts of money we didn’t have on a program we didn’t want. Then they raised taxes on hardworking taxpayers to pay for an $800 billion stimulus, claiming they should have spent more.

But on election day 2010, millions of American Patriots stood up and were counted as they said, “We’re Taxed Enough Already!”

TEA Party members have not just changed the debate, they have changed the results. Sure, they are not the extensive results TEA Party members in many instances were working for, but they are a good step in the right direction. The people will take even more of their country back when they gain control of the Senate and the presidency along with the continued control of the House in 2012. The Great Prevaricator has not given up on more taxes. All good socialists want to level the income field. He needs to be stopped at each and every turn. We must not let him destroy our country,

American Thinker is my favorite place to go for thoughtful conservative commentary. Sometimes, the comments that follow a piece are just as interesting as the article itself. The comment below followed an article by George Picard titled “Obama’s Racial Spoil System.” It is an excellent article, but what really caught my attention was this comment:

Stanley Kurtz coined a term to describe Barack Obama’s modus operandi as a state senator. He gave him the moniker Senator Stealth. One way of understanding Barack Obama’s stealthiness and capacity for hiding and befogging is that he is psychologically Islamic. Christianity calls for a boldness and directness of expression — the yea that is yea. However, Islamic doctrine is less straightforward. For example, the Islamic doctrine of taqiya means concealing or disguising one’s beliefs, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions, and/or strategies at a time of imminent danger, whether now or later in time, to save oneself from physical and/or mental injury. It is impossible to imagine Barack Obama bravely leading soldiers in battle, but he has demonstrated an affinity for drone weapons. Does this affinity reflect his psychological incorporation of taqiya?

This theme of “otherness” in Obama is nothing new. But when you consider taqiya against the backdrop of Obama’s presidency so far, there are some interesting parallels. Twenty years of Jeremiah Wright had to have some effect.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) and The Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) are threatening to cut off air travel in Texas if the bill passes.

Likewise, we have reason to believe that agents of the TSA have been lobbying individual members of the Texas Senate to vote against this bill.

Please email and call everyone you know and ask them to call Gov. Perry, Lt. Gov. Dewhurst and your State Senator and demand that they get the bill back up for a vote today and to vote for its passage.

The bill must be voted on today or it will be dead for this session.

Our backs are to the wall and we must ACT NOW!

Sen Dan Patrick is the Senate sponsor of the bill and says that he is willing to fight for it’s passage.  Let’s make sure he follows up.

We have come too far to stop now.  Don’t let your Senators cower before federal bullies.  Enough is enough!!!!

Note: News like this scares the beegeezus out of me. It just keeps getting worse, and no one seems to be doing anything about it. I still favor completing the border fence and installing plenty of gates all up and down its length. Institute a workable guest worker program for the vast majority of Mexican and OTMs who just want a little liberty along with a little cash to make it more fun. But our new Representative doesn’t think a border fence will work. He compared it to the Great Wall of China, perpetuating the myth that the Great Wall failed to keep out the barbarians. Well, ultimately, maybe. But it kept them out for about 600 years. Fences and walls WORK. Do I really need to explain that? Really?

Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Border Patrol, which falls under the Homeland Security Department, is charged with apprehending aliens attempting to illegally cross U.S. borders. As CNSNews.com previously reported, in fiscal year 2010, around 84 percent of the approximately 448,000 illegal aliens arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol were not prosecuted.  

“These included individuals from special-interest countries like Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia, and Yemen and countries designated by the U.S. Department of State as state-sponsors of terror – Iran, Syria, and Sudan,” said Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas).

It’s not just that we’re seeing immigration across our southern border from countries like Mexico — people seeking to work and provide for their families,” said Cornyn, a member of the Senate Judiciary subcommittee on homeland security and terrorism.

“Indeed in the last year alone — where 445,000 individuals were detained at the southwest border — 59,000 came from countries other than Mexico,” Cornyn said.

Special interest countries are those whose citizens are subject to enhanced screening by the Transportation Security Administration on U.S.-bound flights as a result of the attempted Christmas Day bombing of Northwest Flight 253.

After delivering his remarks at the 15th annual U.S.-Mexico Congressional Border Issues Conference, Sen. Cornyn told reporters he asked the Director of National Intelligence whether the apprehension of the 663 individuals was national security vulnerability. “He said yes it was, so we need to do more,” Cornyn said.

What the Obama administration is doing to secure the border more is “obviously not enough,” he added.

During his speech, Cornyn criticized the Obama administration’s border security efforts, saying that Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano talks about the resources that have been devoted to border areas — the so called ‘inputs’ – “where I’m really more interested in what the results, or the outputs, are.”

Napolitano, who also spoke at the event, said “taken as whole, the manpower, the technology, the resources, represent the most serious and sustained action to secure the border in our nation’s history, and it’s clear from every statistical measure that the approach is working.”

Napolitano called Border Patrol apprehensions a “key indicator of illegal traffic” along the U.S. borders, and she noted the apprehensions have decreased 36 percent in the past two years and are less than one half of what they were at their peak.

Sen. Cornyn suggested that a border security strategy should have a coordinated “interagency approach,” where the various federal entities charged with security along the border are working together and complementing one another.

He also said that a “good” border security strategy “should be resourced appropriately.”

So, Mubarak has fled Egypt and a military council has been left in charge. Mubarak was a general, or so I’ve heard. The military has been in charge of the country all along. With Mubarak gone, it’s a little like rearranging deck chairs, isn’t it?

It’s very interesting how Obama got in front of the protesters and demanded Mubarak cede power “yesterday” (according to Obama’s mouthpiece, Gibbs), yet did nothing to help the protesters in Iran some months ago. Obama is very selective about the protests he supports.

One thing is certain – Obama does not care for the TEA Party. Not one bit. But something about the protests in Egypt compelled Obama to do something. What was it?

It certainly wasn’t a love of liberty. Egypt has no history of Jeffersonian democracy, Constitutional republicanism, or any form of government TEA Partiers would identify with.

Egypt has always been a repressive regime. It wasn’t a socialist utopia before Mubarak. The fact that Mubarak had his boot on the throats of the Muslim Brotherhood and their supporters should have been a clue to the media that perhaps Mubarak was simply trying to keep a lid on what could become an explosive situation.

Get this:

In July of last year, the University of Maryland commissioned Zogby to poll the people of Egypt. Here are a few of their findings:

85% of Egyptians hold an unfavorable attitude toward the U.S.

87% of Egyptians have no confidence in the U.S.

92% of Egyptians believe the U.S. is one of two nations that is the greatest threat to them (the other nation the Egyptian people hate is Israel)

52% of Egyptians hold an unfavorable opinion of American people

65% of Egyptians believe that Islamic clergy must play a greater role in the Egyptian political system

79% percent of Egyptians believe that it would be positive if Iran is able to acquire nuclear weapons

The Zogby poll results back up a similar project conducted by Pew in April and May of last year.  Among Egyptian Muslims polled, 85% felt that Islam’s role in politics was a positive one.  In a struggle between modernizers and Islamist fundamentalists, 59% of Egyptians who foresaw such a conflict stated they would side with the Islamists, while only 27% stated that they would side with the modernizers.

Another Pew poll last June revealed that only 17% of Egyptians hold a favorable view of the United States, while 20% hold a favorable view of suicide bombing.  Yes dear readers, Egyptians like suicide bombing more than they like you.

Pew also revealed that 82% of Egyptian Muslims support stoning human beings to death for having sex outside of marriage and that  77% of Egyptian Muslims support public whippings and cutting people’s hands off for theft.  In addition, a terrifying 84% of Egyptian Muslims support the death penalty for anyone who has the good sense to leave the religion of Islam.

As much as we may not like Hosni Mubarak, there are many worse people who could be in power in Egypt — and they are very likely to be in power before the end of the year.   We would all like to believe that the protesters in the streets of Egypt are all fighting for freedom — but that is not what they say about themselves.  By their own admission, they prefer Islamic fundamentalism to modern civilization by more than 2 to 1.  They don’t want a modern democracy; they do want to murder people for having sex outside of marriage.  They don’t want freedom of religion — in fact 84% of them want to establish the death penalty for it.

What does this sound like?  It sounds a whole lot like Iran in 1979.  Westerners with common sense should be leaving Egypt as quickly as possible, with no plans to ever return. We would like to hope for the best, but we must plan for the worst.

So I ask myself, Why does Obama hate TEA Party protesters and love Egyptian protesters? He knows everything that needs to be known about TEA Partiers, yet knows next to nothing about the Egyptian protesters other than their desire for “change.” Obama is either a fool, or a radical.

Perhaps he is a foolish radical. Or a radical fool.

“If their street revolutions are successful, these Middle Eastern countries will rapidly degenerate into radical Muslim thugocracies allied with our communist enemies.  Israel will be the first target, and with Obama’s radically anti-Israel orientation, the Israelis will stand alone.  We will be next.  One wonders if Obama will then stand to defend the country he swore to, or if he will be out in the streets with his fellow radical leftists burning American flags.”
