There is a Lilliputian retired colonel on a local radio station who gets his nearly daily jollies lambasting the Tea Party folks for one thing or another. I realize he is trying to stir up a response to increase his ratings. I hesitate to respond for that reason. But I thoroughly dislike a person of his alleged caliber delighting in slandering one of the best organizations in the country seeking to return this country to the one the Founding Fathers with the help of God endowed with the means of creating the best nation in the world…ever!

The Lilliputian colonel only shows his ignorance with his comments. If he had ever attended a few meetings he would see that the purpose of the movement is to restore the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights to their rightful places as THE ONLY GUIDES FOR THE LEADERSHIP OF OUR COUNTRY. That includes reversing Supreme Court decisions, con-gressional mandates and executive decrees until we are at the points of our beginnings. That necessarily means a big reduction in the budget, in our debt and in our spending. It also means so-called social causes will take it in the slats.

Finally, let us ask what he means by saying he is neither a Republican, nor a Democrat, but an American? I have been voting for 65 years and have never seen the political party called “American” on the ballot. Colonel, you have to get off the fence and take a position, even if it hurts. It hurts a lot more on the points of the picket fence!

Now, back to Barack Hussein Obama (aka: Barry Soetoro). Is he the first president to have an alias? The first of what we hope will be a long list of followers occurred 4 Aug 2011 in the Washington Times when Jeffrey T. Kuhner wrote a piece calling for the impeachment of Obama. His headline said simply, “President’s socialist takeover must be stopped.” Then he proceeded to list the president’s engagement in numerous high crimes and misdemeanors. It’s beginning, folks. People are beginning to see the leopard’s spots.

Speaker Boehner,

Along with many Americans, I have reached my saturation point with our public servants and the corruption that runs rampant amongst you. The violation of Fiduciary trust has gone beyond questionable activities amongst a few and grown to an undeniable level of blatant Treason for which each and every one of you is GUILTY.

We, concerned citizens who come from all walks of life and educational backgrounds and span all Parties and age groups, have found common ground and are committed to exposing the criminals at all levels of our government. We are the disenfranchised and betrayed citizens with no Party and no representatives in our failed government.

How does it feel to know the Chinese, or some other country, is going to own a piece of the new civic center planned for Port Isabel? Yes, it’s true. The city got $4 million from the Feds, who are broke, so they got the funds from the Chicoms or some other country. That’s why every local, county and state government in the U.S. has got to stop expecting Big Brother to bail them out. Federal grants have to stop for anything but transportation, communication and defense needs. The cause of our economic downfall is us.

The British Press had some interesting comments on Der Fuehrer’s recent visit to London for the G-20 summit. Like an Egyptian Pharaoh, The Great Prevaricator entered London with “500 staff in tow, including 200 Secret Service agents, a team of six doctors, the White House chef and kitchen staff with the president’s own food and water,” Dale McFeatters commented. According to the Evening Standard, he also came with “35 vehicles in all, four speech writers and 13 teleprompters.” Air Force One was there and also the presidential helo along with a fleet of identical decoys to ferry him from Stansted airport to central London. His example of cutting back!

Again, from the London Daily Telegraph editor on foreign relations, we find that Obama has pretty much laid waste to our foreign relations. His animosity toward Great Britain is a poorly kept secret. Presumably it is because of Great Britain’s sins while ruling Kenya (1895-1963). Secretary of State Clinton has endorsed the demand of Argentine President Cristina Kirchner, a Hugo Chavez ally, for mediation of Argentina’s specious claim to the Falkland Islands, a British dependency since 1833. Obama does not seem to have any foreign leader with whom he has forged a strong personal relationship. The French, Germans, Poles, Czechs, Hondurans, Russians, Chinese and certainly Israelites have no warm thoughts for our illustrious leader. The editor writes that for the first time in a long time, the president of the U.S. is actually distrusted by his allies and not in the least feared by his adversaries. Part of his plan for the U.S.?

To all Tea Party or related Patriot Groups,

This is information on a National Tea Party Convention that will be held in Kansas City area in late September this year. It’s purpose is to let the Tea Parties across America voice their opinion on who they want to see as a Republican Presidential and VP choice. It is NOT to nominate any 3rd party candidate. It will help overcome the main stream media’s influence on who THEY want to be the Republican nominees.

This is FREE to attend. It will be a large Jamboree or county fair type atmosphere at the open air convention. It will run about 3 days and the Tea Party vote totals for President and VP will be announced Saturday night at the convention.

If you and your Tea Party are fed up with the main stream media picking the Republican candidates, and your want YOUR voice heard on these selections, then this Jamboree/Convention is for you!

Additional information about the Jamboree is provided in a 4 page WORD write-up attached to this E mail. The Freedom Jamboree committee has also made a U Tube video that explains the purpose of the Jamboree. Other info can also be found on their website at www.freedomjamboree.com Both the 4 page WORD summary and the U tube video are attached for your review. You can also call me at 903-297-3436 for more information.

Please look over the information and let me know if your Tea Party is interested in joining as a registered Tea Party, wants to be a voting Tea Party, or has people interested in attending the Jamboree. I would really appreciate a return E mail or phone call (home # 903-297-3436) to verify that you received this information and if your group is interested in this Jamboree convention.

We hope this Jamboree will be as big or bigger than the Tea Party marches on Washington, DC over the last 2 years. If you missed those opportunities, then here’s another one that you should not miss.

Thank you,

OVERVIEW

This is information on a Nationwide Tea Party Straw Poll Nominating Convention that will be held at the Woodlands Race Track in the Kansas City area on Sept 28th to October 1, 2011 (Wed to Sunday). Wednesday and Thursday are arrival and caucus days. The main convention starts on Friday September 30 and ends with the winning candidate speeches, the JAM concert, and fireworks display on Saturday night. There is a national worship service on Sunday October 2nd for those not traveling out early that day .

The purpose of the convention is to provide a way for Tea Parties to nominate who WE THE PEOPLE want to see run as President and Vice President candidates in the Spring 2012 primary races. This is NOT to pick a 3rd party (Tea Party) candidate, but to influence who WE would like to see as Republican and Democrat candidates in 2012.

IF YOU WANT A VOICE IN DETERMINING WHO THE CANDIDATES ARE FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012 – AND ARE NOT CONTENT TO LET THE LIBERAL MAINSTREAM MEDIA DO THE PICKING FOR YOU – THEN THIS INFORMATION IS FOR YOU!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

Every Tea Party that joins the convention gets 1 vote for Pres and VP. Their local Tea Party people in each state who have volunteered to help with their state Tea Party registrations vet these Tea parties to ensure they are legit. Each Tea Party (or WTP group, 9-12 group, Grassroots America group, etc) gets 1 vote no matter how big or small their group is. The vote can be cast in person at the convention or by phone by the group’s designated representative. The votes are totaled up on Saturday night and the winners get a big wind to their backs entering the Spring 2012 primary season.
NATIONAL TEA PARTY NOMINATING CONVENTION IN KANSAS CITY AREA ON SEPT 30th TO OCTOBER 2nd, 2011 Page: 2 of 4

This is FREE – yes free to join and participate. There is no cost to register your group or to get into the event, but there is a fee to register your delegate who will cast your vote for Pres and VP. This fee is $100 until July 1 and $150 after July 1. The organizers hope that donations at the Jamboree will defray the costs to put on this large Tea Party event.

This convention will be held in a large open field type environment at the Woodlands Race Track in Kansas City, Kansas. Address is 9700 Leavenworth Road Kansas City, Kansas 66109. The main convention will start at noon on Friday September 28th and end Saturday night October 1st. Wednesday will be for early arrival for those Rving in. There are now 520 RV site available at the Woodlands. Thursday will be a state caucus day with some entertainment and food vendors on site. Sunday will have a prayer service.

The Freedom Jamboree will be run as an open-air Tea Party rally with a country fair theme and tailgate party atmosphere. Each state will have its own caucus area identified with a large state flag and adjoining RV and camping areas within. There is a small cost per day if you RV on site or want to camp at the Jamboree. You can mingle with the Tea Parties from your state or with other Tea Parties from across the nation .

The Woodlands Racetrack is right outside Kansas City. Hotels and other services are close to the Racetrack if you are not looking to RV or camp at the Jamboree. You can stay in motels in Kansas City and commute to the Convention if desired. The site will be close enough to do this. The committee is looking into shuttle buses to make this easy. Check out the website for more information on this services.

The convention is family friendly and families are encouraged to attend. The campgrounds and convention will be full of like-minded Tea Party patriots from across the nation. There will be lots of Tea Party and national political speakers, big name musicians, and other entertainment. If you have never attended a large political rally like this, it will be the event of a lifetime.

Once the convention is over, the organization that puts it on will disband. They are doing this as a one-time thing. They have no intentions of doing this every year – just for 2012.

WHO ARE THE EVENT ORGANIZERS?

The people organizing this convention are Tea Party grassroots people, not any national or paid group. They are Tea Party people from the Southeast (Atlanta, GA) area.

They are all volunteers and are committed to being as open as possible with the event finances. More information on the convention organizers can be found on their website www.freedomjamboree.com

This convention is not being organized or sponsored by the National Tea Party Patriots or Tea Party Express organizations. It is strictly a low cost family type affair hosted by grassroots Tea Party groups that are concerned that TEA PARTY people have a voice in who THEY would like to see as presidential candidates in 2012.

WHICH POLITICAL AND NEW MEDIA PEOPLE ARE COMING?

Invitations have been sent out to numerous political people to attend the convention. Many have accepted, even at this early date. More will come when this convention really starts to roll and the politicians realize the positive influence this can have on the candidates who do well in the Tea Party voting. The organizers expect most, if not all, of the big name candidates to be at the convention.
NATIONAL TEA PARTY NOMINATING CONVENTION IN KANSAS CITY AREA ON SEPT 30th TO OCTOBER 2nd, 2011 Page: 3 of 4

Fox News and Conservative Talk radio will be all over this convention. Several of the big names in each media are planning on attending. The media will attend once the size of the projected Tea Party attendance is known. In short – this convention will get plenty of media coverage and major players in the political arena. The organizers expect a large group of Tea Party people to attend this convention.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO TO SIGN UP YOUR TEA PARTY OR TO ATTEND THE CONVENTION?

Go to the website www.freedomjamboree.com or review this informational letter for all the information you need to answer your questions. You can also contact the regional convention coordinators, or the other names in this letter, for more information. The website will also allow you to reserve an RV, camp space, or help with hotel locations.

To Register Your Tea Party and Show How Many are Coming to the Jamboree

Go to the website www.freedomjamboree.com and click on Register Your Group. Fill out the information and submit. THIS IS FREE and you should be be registered as a Tea Party type group when you attend the Jamboree. Your group will show up as a RED Balloon on the US map once your group has been accepted.

To Register Your Tea Party Delegate to Vote in the Nominating Convention

It will cost $100 (or $150 if you register past July1) for your Tea Party to participate in the voting process at the Jamboree. This is required to cover the costs of the cell phone banks and other equipment needed for the voting process. Unfortunately, this is an expense that Conservatives need to pay to make this process work. I firmly believe that this cost is well worth paying to provide a significant media push to the Tea Party nominated candidates for the 2012 elections.

To register your delegate, go the website and click on Register a Delegate. Follow the directions to register your Tea Party delegate and pay the registration fee. After the registration and payment process is completed, your Tea Party balloon will then turn Blue on the US map to verify your registration. You are now registered to vote your Tea Party’s selection for the 2012 elections.

FINANCIALS

This Tea Party nominating convention is being staged at as low a cost as possible. However, the organizers will have costs that must be covered up front – liability insurance, website build and hosting, stage/lighting/sound/LED projection costs, electricity installation, security, EMT/medical, shuttle bus services, trash pickup, etc.

They are asking that Tea Party groups across the nation do some fund raising or ask for group donations to help with these costs. There is also a “Donate Now” button on the website to help cover the convention costs.
NATIONAL TEA PARTY NOMINATING CONVENTION IN KANSAS CITY AREA ON SEPT 30th TO OCTOBER 1st, 2011 Page: 4 of 4

The Tea Party groups around the nation can help support this nominating convention by asking members to visit the website and donating via the “donate now” button. Collections for the convention costs can also be taken up at Tea Parties or group meetings. Any cash or check donations can be made to “Freedom Jamboree” and sent to the address below. Donations are Tax Deductable.

Freedom Jamboree
P. O. Box 1722
Brunswick, GA 31521

This group of individuals has committed to providing a listing of all income vs. all expenditures for this convention on a monthly basis. This will be done through the website. Any money left over after the convention will be returned proportionally to the groups that gave to the event.

It would not take much of a donation from each Tea Party across the nation to make a huge difference in the financial health for this convention. Business donations will also be accepted and are actively encouraged. If we don’t support this convention, and end up with 2012 Presidential candidates that do not have the Tea Party values that America desperately needs, then we have no one to blame but ourselves.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Register your Tea Party (or other grassroots group) on the website. Encourage as many of your group to attend the convention as possible. It will be a fun event and a lasting memory for a lifetime. They will be glad they did.

Select a delegate from your group to vote in the straw poll and send in the $100 (or $150 after July 1) voter registration fee. This is a small cost to help influence the direction America will take in the next 4 years.

Encourage your group members to donate to the Convention through the “Donate Now” button on the website. Donations can also be made by collections at your meetings or Tea Parties and sent to the mailing address that is provided.

Spread the word about the Jamboree to all other Conservative groups that you know and encourage them to attend and sign up delegates to vote. Use E-mail, Facebook, websites, and all other media to spread the information and encourage Conservatives to join us in this historic “Freedom Jamboree”. All help is greatly appreciated!

NOTE: The following is an email I received from JoAnn Fleming, a member of the Texas Tea Party Advisory Committee (TTPAC), which is composed of a group of Tea Party leaders from across Texas. The purpose of the TTPAC is to act as a sort of watchdog group and liaison between the Tea Party movement in Texas and the Texas Legislature, specifically the legsilators who make up the Texas Tea Party Caucus.

There has always been the very real possibility that the TTPAC would be co-opted by Republicans in the legislature, who would simply use the group to advance their agenda with little or no input from them. Ms. Fleming alludes to this in her email.

———-

Patriots,

Please use the following as you see fit.  You have my permission to forward, to post, to print, to distribute to anybody or nobody.  This is my way of putting folks on notice that not everybody is ready to throw confetti at a celebratory parade for the 82nd session of the TX Legislature.

While I was out of state from 5/23 – 5/31/11 due to my father’s illness, a 2011 TEA Party Caucus Legislative Update was circulated.  This was picked up and further circulated by some folks who surely must have had the best of intentions.

One of the circulators stated, “I think we owe the Leadership of this State a pat on the back.  Call your State Rep. and tell them good job.  The media has been hammering them.”

As Chair of the Tea Party Caucus Advisory Committee, it is my responsibility to keep plenty of daylight between what the TP Caucus (legislators & staff) says about the session and what the Advisory Committee believes the People of Texas must know before they give any pats on the back or re-elect anybody.

Now, to set the record straight:

1) True to our role as the
independent Advisory Committee to the TEA Party Caucus of the Texas Legislature, we re-emphasize that we are not an arm of the TEA Party Caucus. We are not political groupies or Republican Party cheerleaders.  While we respect and work with various statewide conservative organizations who have posted complimentary remarks about a “successful session,” the TEA Party Caucus Advisory Committee is not a “me too” group.  Our goal is to save our state from becoming California. .

Our goal is to advance Liberty, fiscal responsibility, adherence to the rule of law, election integrity, private property rights, and true transparency in a limited state government.  Period.

This covers everything from the state budget to the 2nd and 10th Amendments to education reform/funding to sanctuary cities to eminent domain to redistricting.

2) Our assessment of the 82nd Legislative Session is in progress.  It will be factual.  It will be hard-hitting.  It will not contain spin or give cover to protect any party, any politician, or any lame excuse for not getting the job done.  It will give credit where credit is due, but it will also place responsibility squarely and firmly on the shoulders of those who deserve to be called out.  We will hold all officials accountable for their actions or inaction.

In today’s political climate, it is fashionable to use heated “fed up” rhetoric to bash the feds, bash the opposing political party, and pound the table to impress the conservative masses.   Trouble is — all that talk and no real action does not impress us.

This legislative session was an opportunity for Texas to stand tall, stand proud, and lead the way.  Instead, we’ve had much of the same old game-playing, deal-making, “scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” business as usual.  That’s not what we voted for last March and November.  And that’s not what we will be voting for in March and November 2012.

3) Once the Special Session of the 82nd Legislative Session is over, many members of the TEA Party Advisory Committee have made a commitment to each other to continue our work.  We will offer recommendations for Legislature Interim Studies and will continue to press for true state government reforms as embodied in our Fourteen Point Plan.  We must get government back into a constitution-sized box at the state and federal level.

On the road to doing that, we will incur the wrath of liberals, statists, progressives, party establishment types, status quo protectors, and the self-proclaimed ruling elite.  Fine with us.

Let’s roll.

JoAnn Fleming, Chair, Advisory Committee to the TX Legislature’s TEA Party Caucus

By Kirk “Libertarian” Evans

DIVORCE AGREEMENT

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al:

We have stuck together since the late 1950′s for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course.

Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let’s just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

Here is a model separation agreement:
Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.

We don’t like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU. Since you hate guns and war, we’ll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. We’ll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O’Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.

We’ll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street. You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies and illegal aliens. We’ll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO’s and rednecks. We’ll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood.

You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we’ll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we’ll help provide them security.

We’ll keep our Judeo-Christian values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill.

We’ll keep the SUV’s, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors.. We’ll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right. We’ll keep “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and “The National Anthem.” I’m sure you’ll be happy to substitute “Imagine”, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing”, “Kum Ba Ya” or “We Are the World”.

We’ll practice trickle down economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot.

Since it often so offends you, we’ll keep our history, our name and our flag.

Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I’ll bet you answer which one of us will need whose help in 15 years.

Sincerely,

Patriots of the United States of America

P. S. Also, please take Ted Turner, Sean Penn, Martin Sheen, Barbara Streisand, & Jane Fonda with you.

P. S. S. And you won’t have to press 1 for English when you call our country.

WHEN:  Friday, February 25 · 5:00pm – 6:30pm

WHERE:  SPID and Staples (Starbuck’s / Moore Plaza intersection) in Corpus Christi, TX  View Larger Map

Local union organizers and Democrat party members are holding a protest TOMORROW.  You know the media will show up to cover them. We need to make sure our voices are not drowned out by the loud, greedy and clueless. A large, peaceful counterprotest will show our seriousness in supporting responsible budget cutting. Parking is available in the Moore Plaza lot and we will gather there. The gimme folks will gather in the JOann’s/S…tarbucks parking lot. Please give just an hour of your time for this very important statement making event.

I know I don’t need to tell you, but make sure signs are tasteful, responsible and spelled correctly. Wear something patriotic! Do not allow the opposition to draw you into any type of confrontation. Smile and let them do the name calling and any other stupid stuff. There shouldn’t be any opportunity for that as we will be separated by Staples St. We will keep it positive and patriotic and never stoop to their level.

I hope you will make every effort to rearrange your busy schedules for just a short time on Friday. The Democrats are certain the Tea Party is ‘over’ and we must show them we are here to stay. If you cannot make it to the event, please support the effort by sharing this message by email, FB, Twitter, and even old fashioned phone calls.
