The resemblance is positively uncanny.

Joe Scarborough, who hosts “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, tweeted,

Politicians in both parties continue to pursue a Wilsonian foreign policy that is radical and dangerous for America’s future.

He followed that up by saying,

When the US changed it’s Afghanistan goal from killing al Qaeda members to building a country, our leaders guaranteed an endless war.

Some random Tweep responded claiming the MSNBC talking head finally came around and joined conservative talk show host and FoxNews employee Glenn Beck and his Woodrow Wilson fixation.

Jake Tapper of ABCnews has acquiesced to liberal tweeps and the White House and deemed “ObamaCare” a pejorative. It will not be used anymore.

Say it ain’t so! How can this be? Pejorative is defined as having a negative connotation. It’s a disparaging remark.

The question that everyone is asking is “how can it be a pejorative if Obama’s proud of his accomplishment?”

Better yet, you would think he would want to own the rainbow farts right?

I happen to agree with AnaJay: Since “reform” defined indicates improvement, can we object to the use of the term “Health Care Reform”?

Famed movie critic Roger Ebert tweeted:

Kids who wear American Flag t-shirts on 5 May should have to share a lunchroom table with those who wear a hammer and sickle on 4 July. (Via Big Hollywood)

Ebert’s disgusting remark referred to a group of students including a Hispanic who celebrated their American heritage by wearing American patriotic colors to school. The patriots were forced to remove their shirts or face punishment due to their “incendiary” form of expression.

One of the students Daniel Galli said, “[Administrators] said we could wear it on any other day, but today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it’s supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it today.”

Since when is being patriotic insensitive? The clothing was offensive to students with Mexican heritage. An unnamed Hispanic female student said,

I think they should just apologize cause it is a Mexican heritage day. And we don’t deserve to be disrespected like that. I mean we wouldn’t do that on Fourth of July.

It’s almost as if Cinco de Mayo is Independence Day in Mexico. It’s not.

Cinco de Mayo is a regional celebration in the Mexican state of Puebla. It’s a minor bank holiday commemorating the Mexican army’s surprising victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Cinco de Mayo is not that big a deal in Mexico, but Americans fearful of antagonizing Mexicans and Mexican Americans flip out if students wear a American colors or symbols.

To equate July Fourth to Cinco de Mayo is like confusing Juneteenth with Martin Luther King Day. Juneteenth Day is a regional celebration of Black history and commemorates the day Texas first heard of the abolition of slavery in the country.

To hear from the parents of the school kids, you may listen to Laura Ingraham’s interview.

What’s the big deal with Cinco de Mayo anyway? El Dieciséis is more important to real Mexicans.
