Honk Against #Obamacare Friday!

We have heard from Americans for Prosperity to ask us to join a nationwide campaign on this Friday, Jan. 29th, from 12:00 to 12:30 PM. It is a “Honk Against Health Care” at Congressmen Hinojosa’s, Cuellar’s and Ortiz’s offices in Texas. That includes Valley towns of Browsville, McAllen, Edinburg, as well as our sister Tea Parties and friends in Laredo and Corpus Christi. They are asking us to have a few volunteers that would stand in front of their offices during that 30 minutes holding signs. Everyone else is asked to drive by their offices and honk to show them you are against Health Care.

Ask everyone you know to take a drive by their offices and honk to show your disapproval. Spread the word to other Tea Parties around the districts to get people out to keep the pressure on. Here’s the invitation:

Join us, and many others, Friday – January 29th – as we protest the Healthcare Bill by hopping in our cars, circling targeted district offices and “Honking Against the Healthcare Takeover”!

Locations: Ruben Hinojosa (District 15- Edinburg & Beeville) Solomon Ortiz (District 27 – Brownsville & Corpus Christi), Henry Cuellar (District 29 – McAllen, Mission, Rio Grande City, Laredo, Seguin & San Antonio)

Time: 12:00pm – 12:30pm

We need people to hold signs outside of Paseo Plaza Shopping Center in Brownsville, next to Ortiz’s district sign, while staying on the sidewalk, far away from the intersections.

Please show if you are able or come by and honk!
